Highlands Ranch Photographer | One Year Old Cake Smash | Emme

So excited to blog about Emme's cake smash! Isn't she just an adorable little thing! This little session was photographed in my home studio in Highlands Ranch (aka my living room)  Her mom found that gorgeous tutu and matching headband.  The YUMMY cake was provided by Janet from Piped Dreams. We definitely had to help miss Emme along as she was so dainty with her cake and she really didn't like it on her feet!

Look at this sweet and beautiful little girl and I just LOVE her name, Ruby.  We added a pop of red from the headband her mom and dad had for her. I just love the way red photographs and makes such a bold statement. Ruby is 9 days old in these photos and her poor mama was so sick with a cold but I still took a few photos of Ruby and her mama and I think we captured some sweet moments.

Sweet Skye Rose! Look at all that hair! WOW! What a lucky little girl.  She's just adorable and we even tricked big brother into a few photos :)

I am so excited to share a few sneak peeks from my snowy maternity session :) This session like many of my sessions was planned many weeks before the shoot and of course come session time it snows... and it snows a lot! Luckily mom & dad & soon to be big brother were brave enough to come out in the 10 degree weather for their shoot.  There is one thing I love about the snow - is that how BEAUTIFUL everything looks after it snows! Lovely.

Sweet Lorenzo, 9 days old during the shoot and such a lucky boy - he's got the sweetest most caring two older sisters to care for him! He was so good, laid back and sleepy for his session :) Oh and P.S. his parents are both doctors so we had to do something fun with that! 

Oh I just adore the photo of him and his daddy, both smiling!

Just wanted to share some of my favorites from 2013 with you...

First up - newborns... so so many and so hard to pick, I realized I missed looking at 3 whole sessions after I put this one together.

Maternity! Growing new life is a hard task and such a beautiful time to capture it in photos... I love love love photographing these sweet bellies! 

Families!!! I photographed a ton of families in 2013 - I love working with kids... so many fun shots, laughing, hugging, dancing, playing such amazing moments to have captured.

And of course I offered some super cute themed mini sessions with a full set of props and backgrounds
