Highlands Ranch Photographer | Valentine's Mini Session 2014

Just a peek at our Valentines Mini’s held on Monday, January 19th in our studio.  We built and designed the entire set!!! The process took much longer than we expected with all the wood staining but our results were fantastic and our clients are already RAVING about this session!

These peeks were from the first 10 clients to come in and view their photos… we had 20 families participate and a total of 35 kids participate!

If you missed out on our Valentine Minis we only hold them once a year so we hope to see you next year! In the mean time we have LOTS and LOTS of minis coming up throughout the year!

Highlands Ranch First Birthday Photographer | Lorenzo is One

Look at Lorenzo, he is one years old!  Sharon photographed Lorenzo when he was a newborn and now for his first birthday!  He had so much eating his very first birthday cake! This session took place in the comfort of the clients home.

Highlands Ranch Photographer | Extended Family Session

All these families live in different states so they only get together twice a year, once in New Jersey and then either Colorado or Utah.  Sharon said she really loves how even through they live so far apart they make a big effort to see each other twice a year! That is pretty amazing for such a large family!  She felt really honored that they picked her as their photographer to capture them all together here in Colorado.

I had to take my daughter to work with me on Monday all day for our Valentine Mini Sessions. I don't normally bring her to such long events like this but I was out of options.  I booked them on a Monday and normally she would go to a friends house but everyone had the flu over there so that wasn't an option and my husband was working and couldn't take the day off... to make matters worse I scheduled a full day with no breaks so had I planned better I could have taken her to drop in child care for at least part of the day.

We made the best of it and knowingly walking into a situation with a 2 year old stuck in the studio all day without a break and without a nap was going to be rough we planned accordingly... ipad check, toys check, snacks check, milk check, extra clothes, diapers, wipes, etc etc etc... BACKUP CAMERA CHECK....

She does like to do what mommy does so I packed my backup Canon 5D Mark II with the fisheye lens on it... what did she capture... check them out below:





She's pretty good for her age as she seems to actually frame a few things nicely (I didn't edit a single thing) Once she got the camera stuck on shutter priority and it was shooting all dark images she brought it to me and told me it was "broken" so I fixed it for her and she went on her way shooting happily.

Here's my take on the mini's.... note her in the corner sitting on her stool out of my shooting path taking photos too :)

Highlands Ranch Photographer | Extended Family Session

Here at Sharon Arnoldi Photography we LOVE wall art! So to inspire you we are giving you some ideas on how to showcase your images.

The canvas gallery on the left is perfect for extended families showcasing the entire family on the large 30x40 canvas and each individual family group on the top and bottom 11x14's as well as a grandparent / grandkids photograph in the middle! Perfect to showcase all your family and this snowy Colorado photoshoot made for the perfect backdrop for gorgeous wall art! On the right Sharon took one of the family groups and took a fun more candid family shot to use as the large 30x24 center piece and filled it in with smaller 11x14 images on the
sides to showcase more fun images from the session.

This family was so fun and willing to brave the cold with Sharon! She had so much fun photographing the extended family at Fly'n B Park in Littleton, CO.  This snow was the perfect backdrop for the session in beautiful Colorado. 

Highlands Ranch Photographer | Newborn Session | Isaiah is 13 Days New

Handsome Isaiah was thirteen days new when we had his newborn session.  His big sister Eliza was so excited and ready to introduce her little brother!  The session took place in my studio and we used blue in his session to match the colors in his nursery.

I introduce to you beautiful Vivienne at eleven days new!  The whole family was so ecstatic to a have a little princess in their family!  Vivienne is truly blessed with four older brothers to protect her.
