If you are trying to decide what to wear for your fall mini session see below for some inspiration. A nice way to start is by picking a color palette and choosing items from there. Design-seeds.com has some beautiful palettes. Then you will have matching pieces with some variety as well. Don't be afraid to mix some patterns in, but be sure to avoid logos and lettering. Most of all pick something that is comfortable and will work with the weather. It's no fun to be trying to smile while you're cringing from the cold. Layers are a great solution for Colorado weather and they look cute too. Have fun!

These two brothers are so much fun and extremely smart.  At age 10, Santiago wants to become an engineer, doctor or a college professor! I'm pretty sure that at 10 yrs old I wasn't dreaming about becoming an engineer! Ha, and maybe thats why I'm not using my engineering degree now.  Anyways besides both being super smart, you can tell how much fun they have together.

This was the first time for me working with this family, and I have to say that they were so much fun! Little Jonathan is the smiliest little boy and I just love his bright blue eyes.  His big sister and brother probably love having him around and I can tell they have lots of fun with him.

Jackson, the older brother, is the silliest boy I know and I love photographing him.  When we did his little brother's newborn session we did a mini shoot of just Jackson in his superman bedroom and wearing sunglasses and silly things.  It was fun. 

It's been so much fun watching Henry grow up and watching him and Jackson interact, I bet they have so much fun at home.

More Twins! Twins are so fun and such a blessing.  These little ones were so busy - at 18 months old they were quite the handful but in a fun way. They are so cute, Emmet is definitely the little explorer and all boy picking up sticks and playing with them.  Miss Keira is so cute and she warmed up after a couple minutes and gave us some big smiles!

Highlands Ranch Family Photographer | Silo Park | C Family

This session was part of my fall family mini sessions! This was a 45 minute session and we held it at Silo Park in Greenwood Village, CO.  The park is beautiful all year, and keeps a lot of color throughout the winter.  There is a charming little wooden barn next to the parking lot that was converted into a picnic area which makes for another little place to photograph.

Lynn is also a photographer! She specializes in Boudoir Photography, check her out here Bare Boudoir Studio.  Because Lynn was another photographer and she has older kiddos, we really pushed the the time right up to sunset to get the best light for their session. I was a bit concerned because a couple clouds moved in, but the light held up for us and we were able to get some beautiful glowy rim light.
