Sharon Arnoldi Photography is a winner of the Two Bright Lights Editors' Choice Award!

As a testament to my outstanding clients, and my commitment to producing the best-of-the-best wedding and portrait photography, I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected as a winner of a 2013 Two Bright Lights Editors' Choice Award!

The award is given in recognition of the those whose number of published features in 2012 placed them among the top 5% of all Two Bright Lights members. Winners were published across many of the most respected lifestyle, wedding and other print and digital publications in the United States and worldwide.

I am honored to be part of this group of talented photographers and creative professionals. My features this past year have enabled me to increase exposure for my work, and I am thrilled to have been recognized for my endeavors.

Easter Mini Sessions Coming Soon | Highlands Ranch Photographer

Our Easter Mini Session this year is going to be extra special, we will have chicks! How cute will that be? The plan is to host it at my in-home studio, if the weather is extra amazing we may move it outdoors, however I'm having a custom backdrop made just for the shoot!

One question I always get around this time is what to wear to the shoot. I've created a Pinterest board with some ideas to get you started. You can start shopping around or go through your closet - you may already have some great outfits that just need to be put together. Check out my board HERE for some ideas.

Welcome Cayla!!!

Just wanted to spend a few moments introducing my newest addition to Sharon Arnoldi Photography team! Cayla will be working on managing my social media pages, creating some awesome custom designs and assisting at some of the mini sessions. Be sure to say hi if you see her at your next session.

A note from Cayla...
"Hello, I am so excited to be joining Sharon's team.  I earned a degree in Graphic Design from Point Loma Nazarene University, and spent 4 months studying art in Europe. Photos are one of my most treasured possessions; I love reviewing memories. It is my dream job to help capture happy memories for others. Colorado is my home, I've lived in Colorado Springs since I was 8 years old but recently moved to Denver with my new husband. We were married last May in Estes Park, CO. My favorite ways to spend time are traveling, playing board games, making crafts, eating dessert, and hiking."

Valentine Mini Sessions | Highlands Ranch Photographer

I had a full house last Saturday with several mini sessions. It was a great chance to use my new favorite chair and some new backdrops. If you missed your chance for some Valentine pictures check back in to see when the Easter mini sessions become available.

Before I was a mom I would absolutely never keep the upset images... It would have been an instant delete but sometimes those moments are "cute" to look back on.

Black Bear Golf Club Wedding | Highlands Ranch Photographer | Wedding in Parker

I am so happy that Tricia and Greg chose me to photograph their wedding.  The connection between the two of them is amazing.  Tricia is so beautiful and she has the best smile, its one of those smiles that is contagious, just draws you in and you will be smiling as well.  The wedding was held in Parker, CO at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church with the reception at Black Bear Golf Club.

Once we arrived at the church, Tricia hurried to put on the final touches, I set up my lights for the family formal photos and everyone scrambled around getting everything set just perfect.  It wasn't until 5 minutes before the ceremony started that someone realized they left the rings at Black Bear Golf Club.  Everyone went into panic mode.  The wedding wasn't going to start if we didn't have the rings, Tricia looked at me and said "can you go back and get them?" so I left my assistant in charge and hopped in my car and went back to Black Bear.  I had photographed the rings earlier, but had given them back to the maid of honor who was going to bring them so I really had no idea where they were, but I found them! Phew... I was really afraid they'd start the ceremony without me and I'd miss walking down the aisle photos.  I kept thinking why send the main photographer off to get the rings but then I realized - it was because they trusted me.  They knew that I would just get the rings and run right back, I wouldn't stop to chat or dilly around. I was the best choice. So then I felt honored.  (My assistant had ridden with me since the church and Black Bear were only 5 min apart).
