Highlands Ranch Family Photographer | DeKoevend Park | M Family

This session was part of my 2011 fall family mini sessions! This was a 45 minute session and we held it at DeKoevend Park in Littleton, CO.  This park is my "go-to" park for just about any session.  There are huge trees that provide shade at all times of the day (even at high noon).  The park has just a few trees that turn red in the fall, sprinkled in with the abundant yellow ones! 

Its hard to imagine that in January 2011 I was photographing these cute little twins newborn photos and in these photos they are 10 months old! Time sure flies. I brought my little wooden chair, and it was a hit! Lainey & Parker are such cuties, can't wait to see you guys again soon!

Highlands Ranch Family Photographer | Silo Park | C Family

This session was part of my fall family mini sessions! This was a 45 minute session and we held it at Silo Park in Greenwood Village, CO.  The park is beautiful all year, and keeps a lot of color throughout the winter.  There is a charming little wooden barn next to the parking lot that was converted into a picnic area which makes for another little place to photograph.

Lynn is also a photographer! She specializes in Boudoir Photography, check her out here Bare Boudoir Studio.  Because Lynn was another photographer and she has older kiddos, we really pushed the the time right up to sunset to get the best light for their session. I was a bit concerned because a couple clouds moved in, but the light held up for us and we were able to get some beautiful glowy rim light.

Colorado Senior Photographer | Woodland Park High School | Class of 2012 Senior Photos

Bryan is graduating from Woodland Park high school in 2012! We started his senior photo session at Garden of the Gods then moved to old Colorado City for an urban setting. 

When I scoped out this location, in the alley behind the shops the commercial cleaners were blasting Taylor Swift songs, which I found pretty hilarious considering you could hear the employees singing along and they definitely weren't as good as Taylor Swift. By the time we got there no one was singing along but it was still funny... instead we were left with a nice clean linen smell.

 Bryan usually wears glasses, but I had him take them off for a few shots since they were the auto-tinting kind.  This guy has some amazing eyes, he should show them off more often.
