Shower for Baby Felix

Today I attended my cousin-in-law's baby shower and it was so much fun.  Laura is so beautiful and I just couldn't resist taking a couple maternity photos. I can't wait to meet little miss Felix in June!

Spring Stonebrook Manor Wedding - Vivian & Tony

It's hard to imagine that it snowed 3 days before this beautiful wedding, or maybe its not - this is Colorado.  Vivian & Tony were married April 17, 2011 at the beautiful Stonebrook Manor in Thornton.  I absolutely love the flowers and decorations for this wedding - most of which were handmade.

Thank you so much Vivian & Tony for letting me celebrate your special day with you!

Littleton Colorado Engagement Photography | Downtown Littleton Photography | Ally & Justin's Engagement Session

Ally & Justin's Engagement Session - Downtown Littleton, CO Engagement Session

We were hoping for a beautiful Colorado day, but instead we had an overcast chilly day... seems like my luck with engagement sessions lately.  The light was amazing with the overcast sky keeping everything very soft.  Ally and Justin were up for anything I could dream of and we had a blast photographing in downtown Littleton.  I can't wait to photograph their wedding!

Lone Oak Winery Engagement Session with Dogs | Meghan & Jeff's Engagements Part 2

Meghan & Jeff's Engagement Session - Part 2 - Lone Oak Winery, Burleson, TX

Meghan & Jeff shared their favorite winery with me, Lone Oak Winery in Burleson, TX.  It was still really early in the season so there weren't very many grapes on the vines but the light was amazing and everything was very green.  They brought along their two doggies, Riley & Penny.  Don't forget to check out part one of there session here: Part 1 - Meghan & Jeff - Ice Skating.

Denver Art Museum Engagement Session | Denver Engagement Session | Tiffany & Michael - Part 2

Tiffany & Michael's Engagement Session - Part 2 - Denver Art Museum

I chose the area around the Denver Art Museum for the second half of Tiffany & Michael's engagement session.  I love this area because the architecture is interesting and there are a bunch of fun spaces to photograph in.  I was hoping for a beautiful sky and some amazing sun rays, but instead we had an overcast day - I was a little disappointed.  The overcast sky provided us with a nice soft glow and now I couldn't imagine it any other way.

Ice Skating Engagement Photos | Ice Skating Parks Mall - Arlington | Meghan & Jeff, Part 1

Meghan & Jeff's Ice Skating Engagement Session - Part 1

Meghan and Jeff wanted to incorporate their love of ice skating into their engagement session so we did the shoot at the ice skating rink in the Parks Mall of Arlington, TX.  It was a warm day outside and I didn't quite think to bring a coat to the ice skating rink - it was freezing.  I just love that Jeff went from cowboy boots to ice skates.

They are very good ice skaters and both grew up ice skating, so we were able to do some spins.

Across from the rink was this very neat wall with arrows, I just couldn't resist!

Coors Field Engagement Session | Denver Engagement Session | Tiffany & Michael - Part 1

Tiffany & Michael's Engagement Session - Part 1 - Coors Field.

When Tiffany & Michael chose Coors Field as their first location for their engagement portraits I was ecstatic! I absolutely love when my clients choose fun locations for their sessions.  Tiffany's dad grew up with the third base coach of the Colorado Rockies, and was able to get us in without a fee.  Since the Rockies were at Spring training in Arizona when these were photographed, we had full run of the place.
