The fall colors were perfect for this family session at Cottonwood Park!  

The funny thing is we originally scheduled these photos for early October, but the leaves hadn't changed yet!  Crazy Colorado weather!  So we moved this session back hoping the leaves would change in time, and ended up with beautiful golden fall colors!

Fall leaves, pumpkins, and these two!  Oh.my.goodness!  This 9 month session was too CUTE!

We love getting to see Avery & AJ grow throughout their baby plan!

 And Cottonwood Park was the perfect spot for fall photos!

We love bold, bright color and how the Colorado autumn foliage just pops in photos to make the perfect backdrop!  And yellow happens to be one of our favorite colors...so we are totally smitten with the leaves this time of year! 

We also love breaking out our sweaters and scarves and getting cozy this time of year!  Look at all these family snuggles!  So fun!

Love this quote for the colors of fall!  The leaves are finally starting to really change, and it is gorgeous outside!  Early golden sunsets, crisp cool air, and yellow leaves mean fall has arrived in Colorado!  And we are enjoying every second of this cozy sweater & tall boots season!

We even made our first pumpkin pie of this fall this week!  The sweet smell of spicy cinnamon and cloves filled the house...the windows were open and we could hear the sound of the leaves rustling...be still our fall loving hearts!

Looking back at this family fall session from last year twirling in the sun at Cottonwood Park just made our hearts content and so excited to capture this golden sun with our family fall sessions this year!

Maternity Session | Cottonwood Park | Parker, Colorado

We love capturing the beauty of motherhood.

Just like the fleeting newborn stage, pregnancy only lasts a short time...

so we believe in taking photos to hold onto that beautiful stage of eager anticipation.

This maternity session took place at Cottonwood Park!  It was the perfect place to run around with big sister Ruby and get in some family time before baby brother arrives!

Mom is absolutely stunning.

 

And dad is super excited to have his little man here to watch some football!

We can't wait to meet Ruby's baby brother!

Isn't this a gorgeous family?!

 

I just love family fall photos.  They mark the passage of another year.  They document the growth of our little ones...or not so little ones.  They capture the heart and soul of family and record our journey.  So even though the days, weeks, months, and years go by...we can hold onto these moments forever.

And they do it in one of the most beautiful times of the year!

Like when the leaves turned gold in Cottonwood Park last year!  Be still my fall loving heart!
