We love getting caught up in the magic of Halloween...and getting to see all the kids dressed up is always a blast!

Free Halloween Portrait | In Studio | Halloween Day

Halloween is such a magical time of year!  Every Halloween our street gets together for pizza, hot cocoa and trick or treating as a big mob of kids together!  It's the best to see the kids grow up together and look forward to these traditions!

Another one of our favorite traditions every year is FREE kid Halloween portraits!
We love all things whimsical, and does it get any more whimsical than dressing up in costumes?!

Highlands Ranch Photographer | 2012 Free Halloween Portrait

We had a great turnout this year for the free Halloween Portrait.  I was worried about the turnout since I waited until 3 days before Halloween to announce it.  James wanted to spend the weekend before as a family instead of having people coming in and out our house all day so I decided to do the shoot on Wednesday - Halloween day.  On top of the craziness of getting it all setup and ready to go, Elise had her first round of shots earlier in the day which made her very fussy.  We all survived and even Elise was entertained by all the cute kiddos in costume.

2011 Halloween Photo Shoots!

This is now the second annual Free Halloween Photo Shoot! This time I planned for things like eating lunch =).  I also got to show off all my new Ikea furniture.

I had 26 families come & 25 families get photographed! Poor Mr. Landon was just not going to wear his costume - maybe next year.

This shoot is so much fun and I can't wait to see what everyone will dress as next year!

Halloween Portraits - In Studio Promo

This promo is a keeper - I loved it! Can't wait to see what everyone will dress as next year.  I had 12 families come and get their kids portraits done - free of charge.  Next year I will probably have two time slots a morning & an afternoon so I have a break for lunch (didn't think about that).  It was a wonderful day to have fun kiddos coming in and out of the house all day.  James was a good door man and led most everyone down to the basement.  It was so funny when Katy came with the twins because she needed help and James wasn't about to hold a baby - at least not yet.  Once we have kids I'm sure this fear will go away.
